Hey Ross,
Here in Nampa I saw our PH spike from 7.2 to a 7.9 - and its been that way for the last 4 months. I'm not sure why the GH levels rose so fast but they're out of control! I lost almost all of my blue velvets and its clear to me that I need to make some changes fast to the aquarium. I was wondering if you have seen the same change in Meridian. I currently am using just Petco black sand for substrate and have added a few peat moss balls, about 20% RO water during water changes, and almond leaves to try and get PH to come down but I think the damage is done
Do you have any recommendations? Have you needed to adjust your tanks?
Either way, once I have my parameters back to where they should be I'd like to stop by and re-stock with you instead of AquaticArts. Not sure why I didn't just use you first - your price is way better, and wouldn't have to put the shrimps through the stress of shipping.
