happened to saw your thread on Jebo 828 Canister Filter.
I just had a catastrophic disaster with this canister filter last night while doing weekly maintenance.
While withdrawing water out from the main tank, I accidentally place the siphon tube too near to the filter inlet.
Immediately i could hear the motor rumbling noise from the canister filter and quickly switch off the power.
I removed the canister from its housing and tried to re-assemble everything back again.
Next, I primed the filter manually and power it up again.
After which I could see the water filled up both the filter inlet and outlet, however there was no activity at all.
I tried to feel and listen to the motor but there was no sound or movement at all.
With situation like this, is it confirm that the canister filter is gone for good!?
Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
