Hey! I wanted to let you know that the plants you sent me are doing great! I even was able to give some of them away!

If you remember way back inJanuary you gave me a small strand of pennywort. It had no more than 3 or 4 pads. Well I love this stuff! I've got half a dozen or so strands of 5 or 6 pads (broke apart bigger strands) and sold about a half dozen more. I also have one strand that's a foot and a half long! I'm amazed It's really so cool!

Thanks again for sending me them. It really helped out so much! Take care and let me know if there's anything I can help you with.

I feel really bad. I appreciate the act of kindness. Hopefully everything will be OK on Monday

Its not good, and its not acceptable since I PAID for priority so it wouldn't sit over the weekend. *grrrrrr* Hopefully it doesn't sit in the freezing cold all weekend.

I checked at the mailroom right up to closing and they didn't have it. I don't think the mailroom is open on weekend! grr this is bad. The mailroom had checked in all the packages that had arrived so that means it hasn't been delivered to the university yet. That's not good.

Mailed it Tues morning. Delivery is supposed to take no more than three days. If you don't get today, you had BETTER get it tomorrow (and you should complain if anything is damanged or dead since it took them too long).

I'm just curious what service did you ship the package through? Was it FedEx ground? Hopefully the package will be at the mailroom soon so I can pick it up before the mailroom closes. :/

Thanks. I may try and find some snails to help clean up the algae. I'll have to do some research into that though.

The cories are the "garbage crew". It's always good to have a bottom feeder of some kind to eat all the food that the betta misses. Cory catfish or kuhli loaches are great for this. For algae, I always hear that nerite snails are the best thing to get, though I've yet to try them out. Ramshorns and mystery snails don't seem to have done much for me though on the algae front.

Hey I was just reading your 6.6 gallon tank profiles and was wondering what the peppered cories bring to the tank. I actually caught Pax bothering my largest neon today. He wasn't flaring but he kept following the neon who had part of his tail bit off (i'm guessing from Pax because it wasn't like that before). I'm not sure if these neons are good tank mates. I'll see how things go in the next few days.

I am having a bit of green algae buildup. I'd love to add some oto cats but I don't have access to them until I go home. That's no big deal though. What would you suggest? I'm thinking Pax is not a betta that is suited for a community tank :/
