Kevin, I will transfer the pics to hubbies phone, and try to download from there, it may take a day or 2, cause he's at work and needs the phone, so maybe Friday I can unload it. It looked like the bag was torn ...I am not sure how this could happen as I have tried and tried to tear those breather bags to get into them so this was a mystery to me. I was soooo upset at the time that I didn't keep the bag sorry! It smelled really bad too, and I KNEW they were all dead, they were already red in color!
I was just happy that the goldens were still alive. The goldens are doing good, just drip acclimatizing them right now and will put in the main tank tomorrow. They are now starting to swim around the container, so that's a good sign.
I didn't see anything inside the box that could have torn the bag....only thing I can think of is there was a small tear and the jostling of Usps over the 2 days, may have just split the bag open and the water ran out....
Anna I would be interested to see the pictures to see how bad it had become, that would help giving clues to avoid trouble later too. Thanks.
I am a low tech person and my cell can only accept call no text or nothing.
I believe you. breather bags are strong, i guess usps really abused the box.
If you want me to reship, I will ship in regular bag because I have enough room this time. let me know.
Anna, I don't have enough of them for sale at the moment. Thanks.
Hey there, cool to meet someone who lives kinda close (gets a little lonely with so few Canadians around). I'm in St Catharines (couple hours outside Toronto), and I don't have any shrimp for now, but I am hopping to set myself up with some cherries when my tank (fairly new) has had some time to establish. Can't get my hopes up to do this too soon, because I'm currently dealing with an ich outbreak.
I'm really interested in the orange-eyed blue tigers, as well. Anything you can tell me about your experience with them? They're so beautiful, I'd love to have some for my own.
So jealous of your shrimp collection!
