I'm not sure what happened but i lost all of my adult shrimp. They just died off over a week. My parameters we just fine and i haven't added anything new to the tank. i still have over 20 babies though so thats good. Amanos are neat also. Are you putting them in your big tank?

    Hi Dave,

I used to use Riccia , but it did get everywhere in my filter growing in my plants. i hate the stuff But if you read this link it might give you some better ideas on securing it than i had.

As for my big tank i have to hold off on that for awhile. To many bills. How is your shrimps doing?

We are just getting very rainy weather right now , hopefully no more snow Well as for the tank i bought it a while back from someone who needed money it was setup when i bought it and we had to help them tear it down. It was not leaking, but it was put in my garage and stayed there for about a year so i could clear some room out for it. When i put it in my driveway to clean it up a bit the entire bottom seems to be leaking almost. We moved it when it was completely empty so i'm not sure how it happened. I have someone that is stripping the old silicon off and is going to try and see if he can fix it. I guess we will see. I was extremely disappointed . But stuff happens and all you can do is try to fix the problem , not dwell on it.

It was supposed to be a 125 but i found out by filling it that it has a leak. So not yet maybe if i can get it sealed properly. It's going ok with me just happy it's not snowing here anymore How are you doing?

I have had them very small be saddled. And also berried. It normal, they are just happy with the house you have given them I have had a few younger ones actually drop all there eggs and start over again. If you see one drop eggs leave them be, as long as your water is clean they will still hatch.

I feed them starting from the most a month to the least a month.
Shirakura Special food some whole and a very small amount i crushed up into powder for the babies everyday, but a small amount thought of both. Then every few days a toss in a couple cooked green bean or blanched spinach, or both i get mine organic. Cook and blanch them when i get them home and use about 5 ice trays place small amount in each cube then cover just enough with dechlorinated water freeze then pop them out and stick them in a freezer bag ( makes for easy feeding later) , As your shrimp population becomes bigger just defrost more cubes to feed them.. 1 time a week i give them a few frozen bloodworms( defrosted of coarse) and a few flakes of Flake food as long as it doesn't have more than a trace of copper in it. They are in a 10 gallon tank by them selves. There is always a female saddled or berried so far. I see tons of babies around also. I don't have any pictures of my shrimp tank as it was just kinda thrown together and is now overgrown, i'm doing a rescape this week . When i'm done i will send a picture your way Also i do put plants the get algae on them from my 55 into the shrimp tank and by the next day the algae all gone
