Its just ABS plastic. The way it works is the head extrudes a hair of plastic and then it just builds it up layer by layer. So water and gas can seep between the layers. I don't know what the PSI is to get the gas to start going through, but its more than say an air pump can do.

I can send you a sample if you would like.

I'm getting a new one sometime in the near future...great big $100k machine! Not sure what its output is like yet.

I recently read your posts about the co2 meter you were working on.
    How did it turn out?

Ive been looking really hard to find a meter to measure my co2 in my tank especially after OCO the kickstarter failed.

Hello mistergreen. I read your post about the DIY PAR meter, and I was amazed. Congratulations to you and O2 for this amazing feat. I was wondering, since the topic is a year old, if you are still making those for sale. Thanks!

Hello I have a question as I read it thread like trying to gauge intrest and talking about your photographs are against the rules to post in the shrimp and invertebrates forum . I have specifically stayed away from any commercial reference or starting any threads like that . I see them quite often and do not understand what they have to to with the shrimp and inverts forum . I am asking because I think they are going to explode on the Shrimp and invert page when the new rules start . Let me know as if they are permissible I would also like the oppurtinity . It is free advertising for sure . But I have no intention of doing so if like I am thinking it is against the rules I can bring up specific post but they are pretty obvious as like i said they have nothing to do with keeping shrimp At least 3 commercial brokers have them on the Shrimp and inverts thread right now

    Good morning, Mr. Green.
    Sorry to bother you.
Am I the only one who thinks "meowschwitz" is an offensive screen name?
I'm interested to hear your opinion on this when you get a chance.
    Thanks for your time.

I was just reading your DIY PAR meter thread and it looks promising. Any idea if you'll have one left over I could purchase / trade for?

With the past week off from work, I spent it watching the entire new Doctor Who series. And yes, bowties are cool.
