Plants shipped around lunch today.
I how much I told you about these guys when I sent you the first batch or how those are doing or what you did with them (I'd love to know) but, Crypts tend to go through a 'melt' when they're disturbed and take a little while to re-establish themselves.
Once they have gotten comfortable the expanse and pure mass of the root/runner network they send out is nothing short of frightening. In 7 months 3-4 plants had reproduced in every corner of the tank and had tide the entire 2 inch thickness of my eco-complete substrate into one solid mat. Pulling out a plant of the left side of the tank meant the substrate mat was pulled away from the glass on the right side of the tank.
I hope yours have not overrun you as well. I am putting a few in my new tank but I have a mini terra cotta pot to put them in and hopefully restrict their spread.
