I recently used it for new plants that I received. I did dip for about 30 min, used the Clear water in a bucket and I just squirted in until the water was nice and purple. I have had a snail breakout in my larger tank, which is why I decided to try this method with any new plants. I haven't yet dipped my older plants as I don't really want to break down my 42 gallon and disable the BB. If I decide to transfer any plants to other tanks, though I will be using the dip method. I think I may have dipped for too long though. Plants aren't as lush as when I got them in the mail, so you might try a shorter time if you use this method.

Have you used Jungle Clear Water before? How strong did you dose for snails?
