Hey folks,
I am a total beginner here and thought that I would say hi...'hi'...that being said I have been doing research on stuff and junk concerning how I should jump into this. Decades ago i became strongly interested in bonsai, went to my nearest greenhouse dealer, bought 150 dollars ('80's$) of plants and promptly killed them all with loving kindness within weeks. I am old enough not to make that mistake again but find this aqua-world a little overwhelming. Thoughts of "should I get a fifty gal. tank or go with a nano shot glass", "should I invest in a CO2 tank or get some soda bottles and yeast", "how about..." keep racing through my mind. For a guy on a budget who wants to get his hands wet-but not end up killing anything I am hoping for any advice on how to keep the enthusiasum of a beginner but hold onto the reserved hand of a 'Takashi Amano'. This will give you an idea of where I am at. Any advice would help thanks to all and best wishews---R
