Leichty

I am new to a planted aquarium, and would like to learn to set up a nice planted tank with some fish. right now Me and my daughter have a five gallon tank. I use to over clean this tank by removing the fish and cleaning everything from top to bottom. Well I've learned the hard way. Now the last time I cleaned this tank has been months ago. I just change the filter and add water when it gets a little low. It is crystal clear. I'm wanting to learn what is the right ways and the wrong ways to setting up my tank.
