thanks lisa yes i added a koralia in there a small one for now to see if it helps keep the black beard algae down i am still picking that stuff off the driftwood the tank actually looks awsome i cleaned it yesterday really really good scraped all the algae off the glass using a credit card now to get my c02 working again i blew up my regulator

chin deep in Practical Fishkeeping magazines and 4 x Google Tabs. LOL. Done a load of research on fish - only to find out most of the fish I like are wild caught, which I wouldnt have even if my water wasnt so shot! Back to the drawing board!
Yup, tank is slowly getting there. Just gotta sort out the Koralia P/head and find some cheap plants in Uk. Looking at the state of the poor plants I put in last week I think I may be responsible for the future early-demise of a lot of aquarium plants hehehehe - so Im not spending much on them until I KNOW I cant murder them You got 3 tanksworth of plants? How much and what was in there?
