I will shortly, I jsut got done tearing my tank down and redoing it so it is all clear right now. Just waiting for a few things to arrive so I can finish up the hardscape before I stain it again.

Sorry but I deleted it when I realized that I did not read it completely. EI dosing (estimative index) is a way to make your plants grow very rapidly, mostly in tanks with med to high light, CO2, and dry bulk ferts and weekly water changes, the tank should be heavily planted. For more info look here http://www.plantedtank.net/forums/fe...-regimes_.html good luck with your tank.

Thanks for your comment on my small glass water gardens. I agree, it makes me sad when I see Bettas in small containers, but at least some of the people on this forum give them live plants instead of barren glass bowls. I wonder how such a sad tradition of confining them to small glass bowls began.

i did. I spent over 90 on metranidazole and opti-sumthin-or-other (lol) and a wormer med. Put him in a QT tank and within a few hours the whole bottom of the tank was full of worms and parasites. he didnt stand a chnace to be honest. I was picking off worms and lice from him all night and I watched the poor little fellow die. It broke my heart. I know he would have died anyway, but it made me feel like crap when it happened right under my nose Valuable lesson learned. Im not Eliza Doolittle and I wouldnt rescue a sick fish again. But at least I did give him every6 chance x
