Had a disaster last night, my internet got all messed up and a bunch of the stuff got deleted from the site. At least I remember it all!

My fish are all doing great!
The guppies in Phantoms tank have grown and the male now has long colorful fins.
    But Phantoms' not bugging him!

I thought Despot was going down hill here (he's pretty old, about 2 when I got him) but he's started becoming more active and bright, so that's good. I noticed though, it may be because I have been lazy and though I did a few water changes I haven't been topping his tank of and the water level has dropped alot, I wonder if he'd do better in the 2.5 as it's more shallow.

    Oh, and I nearly forgot.
I wanted to show you Phantoms future "baby mama" haha.
Her name is Monarch, got her from a local breeder.

    Sorry this was so long!

It's a standard website, though I was considering adding a forum once the website is up and finished.

It hasn't been published yet but it is close to being finished.
I can send you a PM with the login info (yeah I trust you!) and you can take a look at what I've got so far, if you'd like.

I'd love if you wanted to help out! I could use a hand.

Haha thanks! I've actually been working on a website about Betta care with the same name.

Haha, I am glad too. Still frustrated with the cats but dealing with it. The younger one is fine it is the older one who I hate. Hahaha

I'm actually a dog person too. I have a Pit Bull mix and I moderate on a forum called Pit Bull Chat. I actually don't like cats much at all. I mean I love my cats, but how I got them is a LONG story and lets just say we felt bad and had to "save" them (mother & daughter) and now they've grown on us. Hahaha

I have seen some great Bettas in Canada, I'll be ordering as locally as possible.
I would like to order from Thailand someday, but as of now I'm more comfortable going local.

    That's good to hear.
Oh man, I'm sorry about your five gallon.
I recently bought some REALLY nice guppies from a breeder for my mom and I had them put away in an ice-cream bucket that I closed in the bottom cupboard of our entertainment stand so the cats wouldn't get it while I was getting ready/waiting to go to my moms. Well, long story short I was wrong.

Everything has been okay. I nearly gave up on aquarium keeping all together a little while ago, though. SO SICK OF THE CATS!! Good thing no one replied to my hastily written ad on Kijiji. Haha!

I am in the works of setting up the ol' 30 gallon for a spawn tank to try my hand at Betta Breeding. Should be ordering a few Bettas off Aquabid in the near future. I am going to be VERY picky, but I am in Canada, so my options will be pretty limited.

How have you been? Hows all your stuff going?

Understandable. But I will say that I see my snails more than my Oto. LOL I might only see the Oto once a week and I spend the rest of the time wondering if its dead.

Honestly, I did not know there were different species until I read that in your thread. So I'll be of no use to you. Still, I think ramshorn snails are a very good option. I had some algae in my 3g that nothing was working on. It was driving me a little batty. I tossed two ramshorns in and they had it cleaned up in no time. I don't worry about them overrunning the tank because biology dictates there will only be as many as food allows for. So if I do my part and let them do theirs, we should get along just fine. I've seen them on my plants eating algae off the leaves but they've not harmed any of the plants themselves. Win/win as far as I'm concerned and they're a little more sturdy than otos. Though I DO have an Oto in the tank as well that I rarely see. LOL
