Hmmm, that is odd. Do you know what your pH was? My friend had acidic water in his aquarium and his shrimp never reproduced successfully.

I still have plenty of shrimp, but reproduction seems to have slowed to a crawl or stopped, I don't know why. I thinking about getting some malawa shrimp to add to it, or cherries from a different strain for more genetic diversity.

In that tank I just have inert black sand. It seemed like the adult shrimp did pretty well. The eggs they came carrying hatched and did fine to, they just didn't breed any more. It was fun to give them a try though. How are your shrimps doing?

Well I slowly lost them all. I don't know what happened. =(
I enjoyed them while I had them at least. I'm using the tank for just a male Betta now.

    Hello,

Nope, I'm still saving the driftwood... I'm putting the 12 gallon long on hold for now...

Glad the shrimp are doing OK... sometimes losses of babies are normal. Let me know if you need more.

    Hey Ben,
The shrimp are doing very good. For some reason It seems like I have less babies than there once was though, but all the adults are still doing just fine.. The tank is totally over grown right now lol, the Horn Wart and Frog bit have grown like crazy!

Have you used the drift wood yet? =)
