I got one on Mt. Lemmon too! I can't remember the name of the canyon I was in but it was the big one going I think down the north side of the mountain. I also shot one in the Galiuros. They were both just spike bucks but I was mainly after the whole experience and not trophies really. They were both backpack hunts with really long and grueling hikes out. Those were certainly the best hunts I ever did. I went bowhunting in the Chiricahuas a couple of times but I found that area to have much more human impact and the deer were more skittish there too.

I have hunted Coues everywhere in Arizona. I have hunted 5 or 6 different units. The deer in my pic I killed up on Mt. Lemmon just east of Tucson. I am from Arizona so I love to glass up big Coues bucks. I've never shot a whitetail back east but I would love to. Did you ever kill one?

    Hello Mr Inspiration
My name is Nick and I am an avid fan of your threads, you are a true inspiration , an Artist and have taught me a lot (even though we have not been introduced) I have always been an aquarist (born into an aquarium household) and also a keen horticulturist but have only recently put the two together and gone into planted aquariums and now ripariums , If you check my profile you can see my walsted method open top riparium , but I have a few questions,
1/Which plants are best suited for my setup ,which is an open top sunshine fed,low humidity? 40 % 50%
2/ can I use emergent plants in my setup eg: I have a lobelia cardinalis in the midground , will I be able to grow this out of the water and hopefully get flowers?
    thanks Nick

Hey thanks man. I will go check over there.

Terra cotta pots work alright, but they just tip over and dump everything out.

Hey well thank you J.B. for your kind words. I had a look around your build thread and it's really nice. That is great detail that you included. Nice job with the stain too. That is a good alternative over using cedar or redwood or similarly-hued wood, which can be difficult to find and expensive.

I built a replica of your stand today and wanted to say a BIG THANK YOU for having the original idea. I had to make a few modifications since I'll be putting two tanks (30g long and 20g long) on it, but overall, it's pretty much the same. This thing is unbelievably strong too. Could probably put my house on it without worry. Here is a link to my build, you'll be able to see what mods I had to make. Thanks again, my friend, for a great idea. OK cool, again it was just something I had remembered seeing and thought I would throw it your way. Are you going to have both the suction cup and magnet products available then as a choice or are you swinging one way over the other?

Heya, I just saw that you have a magnet basket product available now. Im a bit of a geek (ok honestly Im a HUGE geek) and I remember seeing a study a while back on the effects of magnetic waves on birds and sharks (I think it was on discovery channel and if I can find the specific story Ill link it). I was just wondering if you had considered the effect on fish with this set up, especially with how much iron we tend to dose in a planted tank? Im NOT a PITA member nor some crazy animal rights person, just thought I would bring this to your attension. Here are a couple of informative links if your interested http://www.coolmagnetman.com/magbio.htm
