That would be great. Is it going to be a forum like site or a "standard" website?

I'm glad you didn't give up aquarium keeping! Perhaps give up cat keeping and try out dog keeping jk. if you can't tell I'm a dog person. I think I've seen quite a few good Canadian bettas. Are you also considering importing from Thailand?

I'm doing ok. I just trimmed my 10g and gave some plants away so it's pretty empty. I also had an accident in my 5g and am down to only one Cherry Shrimp...I was pretty upset about it.

Overall though I've been doing well.

I started a thread to discuss ways to transport it. I think im going to get a 5 gallon bucket and put some small holes in the top. I'm also going to get some fish bags from the LPS and put my 3 danios in one bag and Betta in the other and then put the tops of the bags through the holes in the bucket lid (so they stay in place) and then put as much tank water as i can in the bucket without causing harm to the fish...i need to make sure there is air for the betta. It'll keep the water with teh fish from dropping too quickly. The decorations and filter medium will also hang out in the bucket to keep the bacterial alive. I can also put the plants in ziplock baggies with wet paper towels and some water for transport. I'll lower the water in the tank to like an inch or so. I'm going to save some water in some milk jugs too.

    Hopefully it'll all work

yeah I have a 10 gallon. This hobby is frustraiting because I'm going to have to take the tank down to move back into my dorm and then 4 months down the road, once the plants are all settled, I get to break it down again and move back home. great...

If I ever make it out of school and into a permanent resident I hope to get something larger like a 30 gallon or so.
