    Hey Francis,

I was told to contact you about the rapid breakdown of my Malaya substrate. I started my tank this morning and the soil is already breaking down in many places; the granules have disappeared. Is this normal? I was told this product would be really long lasting. I purchased the soil at Aquatouch about three weeks ago. Another PT member told me to contact you about this issue.

    Thanks,
    Shanster

Hello Frank how are you? My name is George and we have talked before on the phone. I live near Chicago and was interested in getting some product from you. Always wanted ADA products before, just never ordered. Was wondering do you have that surface skimmer in stock. And also that mini M setup as well. I think you have it listed as a special package . Thanks much. George

I'm starting my Mini L today. I just read your blog about changing water. I see you're 50% water changes for the first week. What's your water changing regimen thereafter?

    Hey Frank,

I just ordered an ada mini m from your store and the solar light for the mini m. Plus some other stuff. I sent you an email yesterday and haven't heard back. I wanted to inquire about a glass top for the tank. I know they make them for the tank but didn't know how to order one through your site. I have a cat that likes to get his paws wet if you know what I mean. Anyway, please let me know if there is some way to add it to my order. Best, Fat Guy (Walter)

Cool. I don't have any places near me that sell stones as appealing as seiryu. I tried searching on google for places near me (other than the ones I visited first hand) and I couldn't find anything. How did you find your stones? UG's tanks have really inspired me to use rocks in my next scape (I just couldn't afford to do it in a tank as big as my 40) so I really want to use stones as the "theme" of my mini m. If you could hook me up with some, I would greatly appreciate it.

ah, I see. I don't get your messages until I stumble upon them. Post on my profile so that I can get a notification when you reply.
Back to iwagumi. I'm thinking that I will be changing my mini m to an iwagumi- whether it be salt water reef, or freshwater planted. I will do it planted if I can find some nice stones like that awesome one in your bb iwagumi. Please post an updated picture of that tank. The stone is so beautiful. I was also wondering if you had around 15 lbs of seiryu or ryuoh stone that I could buy from you, that way I know that I'm getting quality and not just pebbles from the bottom of the box at AF.
    Thanks!

I saw a guy selling 25 lbs of lace rock that looked pretty cool, but I don't think that 25 lbs would be enough. HBU?

well, the cheapest method is to go hiking and retrieve your own rock from a mountainside, or a local river, or something of that nature. However, since that tends to be difficult, the next cheapest would be to buy stone from someone selling on TPT or APC. If you have access to something that can break boulders, you can go to landscaping companies and buy boulders of rock, or go and find rock there. The most expensive and probably worst way to get rock is to go through AFA, since the rocks we tend to get through ADA are rubble at best for large tanks, but it is a guaranteed way to get them. The obtaining of good rocks is a never ending quest of pain in the buttocksery.
