I was reading through your Mini S thread and saw that you weren't satisfied with your archaea led... I bought the slim-pro for my Mini M and now and double checking it. Was it really bad, and was the PC better?

Hello Kiran! I got pointed towards you for Wabi Kusa advice? I'm thinking of starting one up when i've got the money together and was hoping you could give me some advice.

Like do I need specific lighting and where is the cheapest site to buy stuff?
Any other tips would be much appreciated!

Sure! Here's what I can come up with off the top of my head:

    RCS - Red cherry shrimp
    PFR - Painted fire red
    CRS - Crystal red shrimp
    CBS - Crystal black shrimp
OEBT - Orange eyed blue tiger
    TT - Tangerine tiger
    BKK - Black king kong
    WR - Wine red
PRL - not an actual shrimp, but is used to refer to CRS to describe a shrimp strain that has never been crossed with golden crystal shrimp; stands for pure red line.

Hi Kiran, loved your pics in the shrimp ball thread. Can you point me to a source to decode the acronyms foe the various shrimp? I'm not familiar with shrimp outside the RCS, CRS, ghost and amano circle, so would be nice to learn more. Cheers, lea

They were rather pretty, much more expensive than their normal male guppys, and petco makes up names for their fish lol so idk, i think i might pick some up if i see them go on sale, after i pick up the other 21 fish i need to balance my tank...... lol

Well, endlers are prettier in my opinion. If you have a well trained eye you can tell the difference if they are side by side, but mostly you have to take the seller's word for it. Mine are pure. Some guppies are cute, but I just love my endlers. And when you even get just two, it's like buying 1000 of them because they breed like rabits!
