    Hey Alan,
I have been reading a lot of people on here recommending your regulators. I need something for my 75 gallon tank. I am looking to spend around $200 or a little more if need be. Need something dual stage and able to use with a ceramic diffuser. If you could get back to me with an offer and a time frame it would take to get it to me that would be great. Thanks, Will

    Hello Alan,

I'm a planted tank/aquarium newb and have decided that I want to go the CO2 route. After doing more research I have come to find out that the last thing I want to cheap out on is a regulator. That being said, how much do you typically charge for a build?

I have a 75G tank and am buying a refurbished 10lb tank from a local welding store. If there's a thread or something like that where you've gone over the finer details, could you link it for me please? I can't seem to find anything on the site.

    Thanks in advance,

    Nick

    Hi Alan,

I've been following your thread in the shadows. Your work is admirable. I am finally ready to pull the trigger on a high end CO2 regulator/system. How much would you charge?

    Hi, Alan
I am building two tank...one is for shrimp planted tank and the other one is planted tank for fish. Then, I heard you build great reg co2 for the member and have fair price and great customer service too. I wondering if I want to build one CO2 reg dual stage(Maybe stainless steel) with two outlet for Two tanks. How do it cost for that? Can you give me some option and price too? Thank you! Hope to have one...

Alan Le stainless 4 outlet dual stage regulator. I want to let people know that Alan Le is the real deal and giving great prices for top quality co2 regulators. This reg would cost over double from retail outlet; well pleased. Kick it Alan.

Alan, I just bought a dual stage reg from you. I thought I put in a good word for you but see no record of it. Tell me the best way to give you positive feedback.
    Thanks

    Hey Alan,

Looks like you're from my old stomping grounds down in the Bay Area :)
I'm researching options for a regulator for my first
go at injecting Co2. Been keeping marine and freshwater tanks for many years, recently been doing the Walstad thing, ready to move on.

My tank is 39 gallons, looking at a 5lb Co2 tank.
I want something simple and reliable, but you can let me know what you recommend.
I can be reached here obviously if you preferre, but also at jmillustrator@gmail.com

    Any help, info, insight appreciated.
Hope to hear from you soon.
    Cheers

Alan, you seem to be the go to person for custom CO2 regulators. I was possibly interested in having one built for me. I have a 40 gallon breeder but may be upgrading to a slightly larger tank in the next few months. I already have a 5 lb CO2 cylinder. My regulator went to crap within a year, but I guess I get what I pay for. I was curious what is a rough cost of having you put one together for me that would work with a pH monitor? Also, just the basic details of how it works, payments, timing to complete a project, ect. From the post below it seems like you stay pretty busy so I appreciate you taking the time with helping me with this.

    Hello Alan,

My name is David. I have some experience with low tech planted tanks and I decided to start a new project since I have a income now. I am currently planning a 27 gallon (36" x 12" x 12") planted tank. I am actually looking for regulators, but the regulators I was looking at at GLA are very expensive. I am trying to find a good regular for my 5lb co2 tank. Although I can afford $200 on a co2 regulator, I am aiming for a good quality one under $100. I been looking through the forums and saw you make very good custom regulators. Could I also receive a price quote and how the process (shipping + money) is done. Thank you.

I really appreciate any advice and help you provide.

    Regards,
    David

    Hello sir,

I'm totally a novice at CO2, and I heard good review about you on this forum. Can you help me build a CO2 system? What's usually the average cost for the system?

    Thank you.

Thank you so much for answering. I have Black Seachem fluorite sand for the first 3 inches in the front then towards the back regular black Seachem fluorite. It's been set up for 4 or 5 months, when I set it up I put about 12 teaspoons of osmocote plus underneath the substrate. I will change the RGB and white to that number, so blue is zero right? I will put the surface skimmer on a timer. I add 6 ppm of kno3 ,2 ppm kh2po4 and 2ppm of mgso4 and a little extra k 3ppm every other day. Traces are Csm+b 0.33 ppm every other day.
I change 50% of water everyweek, don't skip dosing or WC. I have a sera 1000 reactor on one canister and an inline atomic diffuser on the other canister. Ph drops in less than one hour. I have miller microplex, flourish traces, iron gluconate powder, Seachem iron, DTPA and last month I bought EDDHA... Maybe the skimmer is combining with the oxygen it pulls in and oxidizing the iron? Thanks again for your help.

Good evening: Your tank looks beautiful and lush. I currently have 2 e series on a rimless that is 48"x22x20h. Do you mind sharing your photoperiod and percentage for each color of the RGB?
My lights are at 24 from the substrate with white at 100, red 100,green 0' blue 0,
My GH is 4, KH 1 (use ro di water and reconstitute it)
I dose EI But my plants are pale , no matter how much iron I dose, plants do not have that rich green color that I achieved when I was running 4 T5 HO.
Co2 is as high as my discus will tolerate (a ph drop of 1.2 points) I have eheim canisters (good flow) and an eheim surface skimmer. Sharing your parameters might give me a clue on what I Am missing.
In pictures it looks beautiful but I am not sure if these LEDS are nuking out my traces.
This is my first time asking a question directly to anyone. I would really appreciate some info.
    Thanks

Hey Alan, knowing that you do many great regulator builds, I was wondering if you might have an idea where I might find a very specific part. Being a bit of a newb on regulator components, it seems I have lost the internal spring on one of my solenoid valves. Below is a pic of the coil for the solenoid - hopefully you can tell me where I might find a replacement spring. Or (hopefully) you or maybe one of the other great builders might actually have one laying around. Let me know your thoughts and thanks ahead of time for your time.
