    Hi Tom,

I am new to the forum and was brought here by a few members of some other forums and by some friends from an LFS here in Toronto. I have an 80 gallon tank that I have been trying to perfect and has been suggested to me that the addition of some driftwood would be good. I have been reading this forum today and have noticed that people have been ordering box sets of Manzanita wood from you. I have no idea where to source this kind of wood here in Toronto and wondering if you could provide me with a decent set of driftwood (15-20 pieces) or if you have any idea where I could find/buy some up here in Canada.

I would just like to thank you so much for your great contribution of knowledge and skill to this hobby/aquatic world and helping to live on the dream of Mr. Amano. Hope to hear from you soon!

    Thanks,
    Andrew

Hi Mr. Barr. I'm sensitive to the fact that you must get bombarded with questions owing to your expertise in the hobby. I feel like I've looked everywhere though and I'm just hoping you can help. I'm looking for some lava rock that's more or less columnar in shape. You seem to have access to some crazy hardscape materials and have even journal'd a 60P with more or less the kind of rock I'm after. Do you have idea where I can source this kind of thing? Otherwise I'm stuck endlessly searching Ebay for someone selling an occasional piece along these lines. Thanks man! I'm grateful for any help!

    Hello Tom,
I'm interested in your driftwood after seeing it featured on several other people's tank journals. Is there any chance I can see them or something? :D

The 45 $ box is just a representative sample, it is not those specific pieces. Ship is included there, shipping is not included in the other items. That will add to the cost.

Thank you for the info. So if I understand correctly, I can choose a $45.00 box which will include assorted pieces AND shipping OR I can look at the individual pieces you have displayed and then I would pay the price listed AS WELL as shipping? The very fist picture is representative of a $45.00 box and the remaining pictures are the individual pieces for sale, right?

    Hello Tom,
I am very new to this hobby and have read on various posts about your amazing driftwood for sale but I am not sure how to go about finding your website. Do you sell on Ebay or right here on this forum? I have a 46 gallon bow front and am thinking about incorporating at least two groupings of driftwood- one somewhat tall and tree branch like and the other more squat and gnarled wood in appearance. When convenient, could you send me your information about sales of the driftwood?
    Many thanks,
    Elizabeth

I received my box today. What to say, superb drifts. Most of them are in variety of shapes. I would recommend this box for a 30G tank or more. I am sure I don't have space to use all of them in my tank.

    Good one! Thanks Tom

I received the box of driftwood today. Looks great. Cleaning it tomorrow, can't wait to see it in the tank. I've sent the payment through PayPal. Thanks again.

    Hey Tom,

I just read a post of yours from 2007 on the barrreport. I'm looking into starting a new tank 40g breeder. MTS capped with sand. HC, Blyxa Jap. and some moss on driftwood. Going pressurized, 100 watt t5, ei (possibly). Have you ever tried a dry start with moss? Xmas moss specifically. I think a dry start would be fun to try, just not sure about the moss. Any thoughts would be awesome. I definitely enjoy your presence on TPT. Thank you!

    Hey Plantbrain - Tom Barr,

I am starting my first planted tank and I'm starting to figure out a design. I really want to use driftwood; I saw another individuals tank on this forum that I loved the driftwood he used. He sent me to you because you're the person who sold the driftwood to him. Anyways the guys name is Coast Guard Jon from DC. I was hoping you might be able to help me out.

    Let me know --

    Hi there!
The only reason I decided to join this forum was from seeing your thread. Your tank is stunning. Please tell me where you purchase your unique and beautiful plants from?
