    Hi Mellissa,
Do you got ricca,if so how do you like the stuff.I'm seeing different opinions on the stuff.I would like to try it in my shrimp tank but,not sure from what i have been reading.I guess it breaks up real easy and gets everywheres.

There is no snow to be found here in upstate NY,just a dreary dull brown.Spring birds are singing away, always nice to here them. How big of a leak do you have in your tank? Shouldn't be that hard to fix is it. Must of been disappointing to see the water coming out of the tank.

Hey,I have a really, really small cherry shrimp (1/2 inch) that is berried, are they ready to reproduce at that young of age? I see some more small ones saddled,I thought it took them about three months to mature and to reproduce.I't just so small. This is the first time that i can actually see what is going with these little guys.Just amazed !

Yes i have....they arre loving it.I have a few more in the community tank, they are hard to catch,so i will just leave them in there ,they have plenty of places to hide.I bought some moss on a different forum when i put in the tank the shrimp took off after it,they like for some reason.I just bought some more from Aaron T on this forum, should be getting it today. What do you feed your shrimp?I'm feeding mine algea waffers, they seem to like it ,sorta.I have snails in my 55,not too many but,i crushed a couple of them and put them in with the shrimp, they ate them!!!...so i know they like shrimp : ).Anyways all iswell,no snail deaths. You have any pics of your shrimp tank? if so send a couple my way,i would like to see your set up.I 'll send some your way when i get mine organized.

I'm not sure i'm doing this message right.I didn't see your message till a day after you posted it.I posted my self the same message as i typing here.Anyways not sure you will see this message,Let me know if you see it.

Hi,The sand in the tank is pool filter sand,50# for $9.00.I had sms (soil master select) in there but got bored with the color (reddish brown). It grew plants all right but didn't like the color. The sand brightens the tank up and makes the plants look alot greener,i have amazonia II underneath the sand.I had the amazonia from another tank that i tore down,so i said why not use that also.In the other tank with the amazonia when you tried to move your plants around you would stir up amazonia and it would get cloudy that is why i have that on hand,it's from when i started out in the hobby again.Don't be so hard on your self about the way your tank looks when you sent me pictures of it i thought it look nice.I'm not into scaping i just put the plants in there and see what happens,if they need to be moved i move them that is why i don't use the amazonia now, to much moveing of plants stirs it up.Thanks for responding......Dave

I have some snails but very few.I laid one to rest yesterday : )
