    I used the media that came with it. Plus about 2 bags of AC110 bio rings, a bag of purigen.

    Ya i did some of my stems died but i still have a good amount holding on well ill take a pic and send it too you.

    Subwassertang responds well to being tied down. It grows well on driftwood. I have not tried to grow it on rocks though. IMO, stick to tieing it to driftwood or to your substrate.

    I don't believe it will grow through wire mesh.

    Nice, I've always like the Zebra Otos, hoping to get some one day. I'm mostly into freshwater inverts, mainly shrimp. My tanks aren't heavily planted or high tech at all; I just have mostly java fern and moss. I also have some CPDs and Betta Macrostoma. Hopefully one day I can start a nice 40 or 75 planted tank, will probably try out nanos first. Keep in touch!
