I'm still working on getting my gumpton up to put up a DIY co2 system. I have been buying the parts to do a real co2 setup, but I'm holding out for the best setup, and so that means I have to wait until i can afford to swing the regulator and stuff. I have a co2 tank and the drop checkers and the diffusers ... just dont have the cash yet for a good reg setup yet. But 10 gallons is a great start I think, still a nice bit of room to work with and still small so it;s not too much work! Petco still have the 1 a gallon sale going on too, but it doesnt have anything but the tank.

I couldnt find you on my friends list on facebook so figured Id message you here. I think after my crayfish has her babies I am just going to move her in with the paradise fish and start work on the tank. I plan to venture into the LFS this week just to see if they have any suggestions for substrate. For now I am thinking about just getting some guppy grass or moss just to get a start on something. I have an idea of what I want but I dont want to mess with the lighting right now. I saw a 10 gallon kit at petsmart for cheap last week, I might just get that and modify the lighting. 10 gallon is big enough yet small enough to work on for a planted tank. I can still consider it a nano to an extent and enjoy a school of tetras and start with shrimp again. Still unsure about all the Co2 though. Any thoughts on this?
