29 gallon low light

Ok, so I think I have made up my mind on what I want to do.
I have this tank http://comfortfirst.com/p-36077-ecli...arineland.aspx
it is a 29 gallon with 2 24" flourescent lights. Currenlty it has a goldfish in it. I am going to be moving the goldfish into another tank.

I don't want to use any C02 just yet, and I don't want to buy any new light fixtures yet either. I plan on buying 2 new fourescent bulbs. What type should I get? I was looking at the coralife bulbs like these http://www.oceanicsystems.com/produc...cent/index.php but I don't know which 2 bulbs to get? Any suggestions?

I am at the point now where I am just trying to decide on lighting.

Thanks

Anything in the 6500K range is the best. This range is in the red spectrum which plants prefer to grow so those lights will give off a pinkish glow.
There is a great list of low light plants as a sticky in this forum.
Really tough plants are java ferns and mosses, I dind dwarf sag to be really good as well, crypts are good for low light as well but are prone to melting. Anubias are awsome too, bolbitus and most hygro species.

I think those Marineland fixtures take T8 bulbs...

If it were me I'd go with one bulb in the low 6700/6500k range and the other with a higher kelvin; either 8000k, 9235k, or 10000k.

It's really a matter of personal aesthetics more than anything else. Most bulbs between 5000 - 10000k will support FW plant growth.

I second Lauralee - I'd get the second bulb closer to the 10000 range as it will be a little cleaner light, not so pink. The plants that were mentioned are also good... I don't worry about crypts melting too much, even if they do they come back beter then before and they are such a great, easy plant....

I got some new bulbs; I ended up getting "Zoo Med Flora Sun Max Plant Growth Fluorescent Lamp" and "Zoo Med Ocean Sun 10,000K Fluorescent Lamp" because I couldn't find Cora Life in the T-8 bulbs. Bought my substrate(Aqua Soil Amazonia). I put in my substrate but then realized that I am going to need another bag. I'm gonna go get more tomorrow.
