I figured I'd share my reef. The light is a 70 watt 16.5 inch sunpod. The tank is a nano wave 9 (10 gallons total) I just got the rock two days ago. LMK what you think about the scape

What kind of rock, tonga? Also has how long are you curing the rock for? SW looks nice, just using hte LR for your filtration with a couple of Koralia 1's for movement?

The rock is called "bali alure" The rock was almost cured when I bought it. This tank has a built in refugium with some live rock rubble in it, and I'm getting some chaeto soon. The filtration stuff is in the back compartments. The tank also came with a skimmer. Those are k nanos. Hopefully I will be able to order my clean up crew on sunday and get it on tuesday.

Looks nice but why did you decide to buy a nanowave9 when you upgraded the lighting already?

Well, it was $89 shipped with pumps skimmer refugium, etc., and I wanted the curved glass

. I knew I'd upgrade the lights anyway. They were too hot, plus I always wanted a mh. I decided to go with the sunpod over a pendant because of evilc66's actinic led's that he's making

@ Dollface ^^AGREED. this is PLANTED tank.net... reefs should not be permitted. The only way you get a salt water tank on here is if it's growing forms of algae and kelp...

Nah, CL, keep it here, it's a nice change and surprise to see. Don't let the others get you down. We're all doing the same thing, recreating nature at home. Plus, I can't tell if half of the 'negative' comments are even negative, or if they are satiracle.
We're all here for a good time, not a long time.

It will grow algae, just give it some time.

I like seeing it here as well. CL is obviously an active TPT member. I say cut him some slack and let him share. I'll tag along.
