Thanks marko. So will it ever regain its green color? I've got it at the top of the tank right in one of my koralias flow, and I have a 70 watt MH on for like 10 hours/ day?

well, if its just the lighting, then sure. when it is given a higher light intesity it will become greener. the green is the corals protective pigment from UV and other damaging light. less light = less protective pigment + more photosynthetic zooxanthalea (which are brown).
you have ok light, but to really bring out the colors of an SPS takes even more. SPS are the corals at the very top of the reef crest. many are even left dry for a few hours during low tide (they develop a mucus coating if that happens, to keep from drying out).
monti caps are normally put at the very top of the tank even in large setups meant for mainly SPS since the just love as much light as they can get (NOTE: quick increases still cause bleaching).

im here to help.
but im not an expert. i havent been into reefs long enough to know as much about them as i do about planted tanks. try nano-reef.com they have some smart people, even though sometimes they give answers that are a bit complicatedly worded.

Definitely dinos. 2 to 3 day blackouts can help slow it down, then go after it with an airline siphon. Some corals might be pissed about a black out, but it's probably not as bad as the toxins from dinos. Do that a few times and it should be gone. Granted, I've only had it in small macroalgae tanks, so the macros could have helped with competition. You can always throw some killer caulerpa in there to smother it.

I was rotfl'ing at the first few pages of this thread. So many rules to break, so little time.

lol. Thanks jaidexl. The dinos just kinda went away on their own. Not sure why.
But now my zoas are just kinda disappearing I guess. The close up then get smaller until they are gone Not sure why. I think it's because I lowered the light, but I did increase the photoperiod.

Just make sure there are no zoa eating nudibranchs on them. There should be little spiral eggs on the zoas if so.
