Win a 1 yr Silver Membership or 1 YrBronze Membership

I was thinking that with all the support I have received form members of this site with the care packages and with the site allowing me to take up donations here, I want to give something back.

I purpose a little competition.

The winner will receive a 1 yr Silver membership paid by yours truly.. and the runner up will receive a 1 yr Bronze Membership.

The prizes have been increased thanks to the generosity of Blue Ridge Reef and PRESTON4479.


Here is the deal:

1. To enter you must write a short aquatic related article or journal related to your setup of a tank or filter, whatever.
2. The competition will be judged by the other members of the board.
3. Only members that are not supporting members can enter.
4. You can only enter once.
5. Once you post a link to your journal or post your article, please PM a moderator and have the post moved here. It is your responsibility to have a moderator move your post in this thread to the contest thread.

If you have a journal thread of your setup you can link to it and it will be judged.

If you would like to write an article you can post it in this thread, if you have already written one, link to it.

This competition will be open until April 21rst, when I will post a poll thread for the voting.

The winner will PM me their paypal info and I will shoot them over the $10 that is needed to get the Bronze Subscription.

Let me know how you want to handle the thread here. I think you actually may want two threads to do this properly, it could get confusing down the line. Maybe one thread locked just for entry's to keep it orginized and this one for discussion of the contest itself.
Entrants could post it here and the mods can move the entry's we find into the locked thread for reading. Just a thought, its up to you.

Hey I locked it, stuck it and moved the first entry in but I cannot change the order of the posts within, so yours will be getting bumped down as the entries go in.

Nuttin' I can do about that.

I'll keep an eye on this and we will see as it goes along how it is working out. If you think of something else that needs changing just give me a shout.
