The Coralife 2x65w Aqualight will work. The overall light is a little high, so you might have to reduce the photoperiod some or raise the fixture a little higher than normal. Even the single bulb model will work if you want them to grow at a slower pace.

i have one, but it has 2 50/50 bulbs. which means its half actinic and half daylight.. i could just replace the bulb i would assume correct?
and the bulb i would want,, just look for a bulb under the planted aquarium section tht fits?

Yep, that will do it. The 6700K and 10,000K are great choices depending upon what hue you'd like your tank to be. The latter is a bit whiter, but with a slight blue color. The former will allow the greens to appear more green, but it does have a bit of a yellow color. Plant growth is the same with either, it's just what color you want your tank/plants to appear.

Is it the 50/50 (10,000K and actinic on each bulb)? If so, then you'll need to change the bulbs. I have the same fixture and that's what it came with. The pure 10,000K bulbs are ok to use.

50/50 bulbs are one tube 10,000k and other tube actinic, I do believe.

For the plant's sake, they are able to use the 10,000k side of the light, meaning they are getting about half the wattage from the bulb.

Any light you choose to put in the tank between 3,000k and 12000k will work fine. I really like the hue the GE 9325K bulbs emit. Do a search to see what they look like, there is a good thread over on APC about them. AGA 8,000K look similar, and I just ordered one of those to try out.

Good luck.
