I am building a new DIY light box. I plan to use 4 T8 32 watt bulbs for a 75 gal. What would the optimal distance between bulbs be? I cannot afford a polished reflector so it will be painted white, possibly using some mirror tile on top.
Suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Space them about 3"-31/2" apart for 4 bulbs.
