From ashland here, Imo the choice of petshops isnt much here. Just a local chain Berts Pet Center "really high markup" and a Petland "typical chain".

They still have an aquarium service running though.
I have to admit Louisville (and Clarksville, IN) has a great selection of stores.
If anyone is ever in the area you should check out Green tree Pet Center in Clarksville, and there are too many in louisville to name.

just fish is great, i go there all of the time, just bought some dwarf baby tears there!
