Do any of these snails remove GSA/GDA like nerites? The last two look very similar to nerites i've seen. If they are similar, do they lay eggs like other nerites? Thanks

The horned and mini eat pretty much the same algaes as the other nerites.

The rest do not eat algae that I know of.

Do you know if the Sulawesi snails are asexual or sexual?

Not sure...they do give birth to snails like livebearers do

I just received a group of these from Invertz Factory a couple of weeks ago and they are doing great in my community tank. I decided to buy them because they are very nice looking nerite snails and help to keep my tank algae free. I have not seen them lay any eggs so far.

Thanks again Invertz Factory

I got some several species with the Madison group order and am very happy. I didn't realize the Tylos were so big!

Question: are the Jokers terrestrial? I find mine clinging to the top of the tank all the time and even one was out of the tank...

I am not sure if they are terrestial...I have seen this behavior from them but thought they might be just looking around.

According to the supplier, they are aquatic...but I have learned that they some times are not right.

I often hear about this snail going out of water, and I usually just refer back to the time they were first exported, when there was some talk on European invertebrate forums that they're actually amphibious and brackish. I didn't bother looking into it much at that time, but I'd imagine there's a more solid answer by now.

Strangely enough, many people I tell this to seem to be very offended by that information, because "the seller/supplier said they were collected in freshwater!!! you liar!!!".
