Default Amano's In Chi-Town???

I am having a hard time finding Amano's at my local fish stores, does anyone know a store that has them in stock? I am in Bolingbrook (West Suburbs) but willing to drive a bit to pick them up.

Thanks
Ken

I got mine for $2.99 from Scott's pet store 3054 S. Wolf rd. in Westchester, IL. Aquarium Adventures in Hoffman Estates also has them but I dont really trust their livestock...

I was at AA in Bolingbrook last week and I didn't see any, maybe they got a shipment. I may try the AA in Hofman, thanks.

Old orchard aquarium has them for 3/$11. Not exactly the cheapest but they got them. They also have cherry shrimp for around $9.99 a piece

Try Petsmart in Joliet. I think I saw some there before, though I did buy mine at AA in Bolingbrook before. How many were you looking to buy? I think I have around 8 total in both tanks, but I could probably sell you about 3-4.

I was at the AA in Hoffman yesterday, the rcs are 3.99, not including the 50% off and plus the extra 10-25% off if you are a member, so they're going for about a buck fiddy. Amano's are going for 5.98, i think, and C-A grade crs are going for 9.99 (these are price without the % off). I picked up B-ish A-ish crs yesterday and they're still living, let's see how they do.

So if you look at the sales, you could definitely pick up some nice plants and fish for a very good price. but of course, when i mean pick, i mean literally, just to be on the safe side of not making a second visit for the returns. Granted I don't work there but I'm just letting my fellow hobbyist know the opportunities that we have.
