GCCA Swap Apr 13th. I SCORED BIG

Well I went to the swap. I got there right when it opened and what a good thing I did.

I was walking around and I came across these little 10g setups that were from $10-$15 or so. In one of the tanks I see this really clean 501 canister filter with all the tubes and filter media. I said how much do you want for it. He didnt even really know what it was worth so he said $2 for the little thing. I GRABBED IT. THen I cam across co2 regulators. I grabbed a clippard with needle valve for $7 big ones. Then I got 4 longfinned albino bristlenose for $15. I bought 1/2lb of algae waffers for $6.

zlet me tell you that if my limit was $200 and not $40 I would have needed a truck for what I could have bought.

Nice score. I didn't even realize there was a swap yesterday. Probably a good thing, as I don't really need anything - not as though that would have stopped me from spending!

guy that I bought the reg from had a brand new milwaukee for $30 and an aquariumplants reg for $15. I have never seen so many deals there in my life. There was a xp2 for $20 without the tubes. Many different tanks from 2.5's to 55's.

crap i went there at around noon and didnt see any of that stuff mentioned... $20 bucks for xp2 wouldve been sweet

now that I think about it I should have bought the deals and passed them on to you guys. I had the cash on me for the other regulators and the xp2. Next time I will bring more dough and grab some extra stuff.

The swap meets are more frequent during the fall/winter months. I don't know why. Travel is a bigger pain from those coming from other states, especially in the winter time.
