So whos all here, what island, and are you members of the aquarium society?

Im Larry and live on Oahu. I am a member of the Honolulu Aquarium Society (I think im the only tall skinny white guy there)

I live on Oahu also, and am part of HAS. I see you joined Planted tank not too long ago.......so welcome aboard.

Tall skinny white guy huh? Did you go to this month's past meeting? If so, were you the one that brought your wife/new child? For that is the only tall skinny white guy I can remember being at the meeting.

If so I will introduce myself to you next meeting if you are going.

There are quite a few others here on the board that are part of HAS also. Hopefully they will chime in too

thanks for the welcome. That was me at the meeting. I took about a 4 month vacation from the club due to racing and personal crap going on. Ill be there next month though. I stumbled across this site and figured I would check it out. Seems pretty nice.

I'm from Mililani. I'm not a HAS member. I'm thinking of going to the next meeting depending my schedule.

BTW: Does anyone have any extra plants that they would be willing to sell for cheap? I'm just starting my tank so I need alot of plants to help prevent as much algae as possible. Thanks

thanks. I do have lots of echinodorus tenellus I want to pull. It grows like mad and in my small 20g I really don't have the room for it. TRD has first dibs, but if he's not interested then first come first serve!

Hey Ben,

You should check out our new/old webiste. It is the old website with a new address:

http://www.honoluluaquariumsociety.org/

We meet the first friday of every month. So that means the next meeting is is next friday (6/2/06)

The website should have directions and stuff, but I have not been on it yet (I hope the link works)
