For our first possible rendezvous, GCCA swap meet on Dec 5 can be the place. I will be there between noon and 1 but possibly not for long due to some other priorities I have to take care of as well. Anybody who plans to be there between then, please PM me and we can catch up for a while.

Among others who have showed interest are jczernia (@ 10 am or so) and Zinfin and NoRemorse76 although time has not been confirmed.

Please us this thread to post if and when you would possibly be there so that others can contact you (and vice versa) to meet in person.

Other intentions of this thread is to get to know each other a little better. I will carry a cam with me and take a few pics of the meet as well as any other fellow group members I meet and post them back here (with permission) so that we can put a name and face with the people. Anybody else interested about the same can also do likewise.

I never made it to the Swap. The combination of Christmas shopping and the weather kept me from making the drive. I did take some time to clean out my 20H Sunday night and have some Java Moss, Myrio stems and perhaps a baby Java Fern cutting that could be attached to a rock for swap or grab bag giveaway whenever we get a solid time on a meeting. Nothing like having a bucket of plants and water in the laundry room. It will be time to test how long I can do so with out incurring the wrath of the gf.

Just hold on for a few more days! I will try to organize a meet up as early as possible after Friday.

BTW, I went to the swap meet but was really late so I could not meet up with John (the only person other than me who I knew was coming). Anyways, the plant selection was not too much. Lots of crypts and ferns but a lot of it from Arizona Aquatics, not local growers. Ended up buying a pack of guppy for my son
