New to the group as I have just found it today, but have been active on the PT forums for awhile now.
Both my tanks are low-tech and low-budget. I got my 55g for free complete with Fluval C.F. I paid $20 for my 10g and bought $5 worth of gravel. My 55 is currently under construction, although is going with some goldfish, but I am getting rid of the silk plants and river rock and putting in a real substrate with live plants. Updates to be at a later point.
My 10g I have turned into a vivarium with stuff I got out of my yard and like it very much. I will soon attach it to my m.t with DIY overflow system. I really love this low-tech low-budget approach, especially when I get the results I have gotten so far.
