3. Club website. I am definitely interested and few others also showed interest. Benefits I can think of are
- easier content mgmt
- have a calendar of events
- no 1000 char limit (I really hate it).
- central place for surveys and polls
- better mgmt of trades/group buys
- this idea is from dfwapc. We can have a yearly membership between 10-20 dollars/head. This is for future but if we get more members, it will add up to provide us a pool to do some things.

Some free places we can use are google site, Facebook or blogger/blogspot.

I have webspace the group can use. All we would need to do is register the domain.
scptc.org is available. I can have a basic forum site up by this weekend if we want.

Pat - I personally would like to have a website for us so I am with you. What are the fees like? I think hold on to starting it though in case we get a vote to change the name.

BTW, can tools like polls, calendar, email distro, maybe pay pal integration etc. can be done?

All of it can be done fairly easily. Biggest thing (I haven't read the other active thread yet...) we need to decide on a name (SCPTC or CPTC) so I can buy a domain name.

should also think about adopting bylaws to establish ground rules for the club
