I have a 90 gallon with 4 x 96 watt pc's. And will be getting pressurized pc after I fill up the tank (will be doing emersed). At atlantis they also had some great rocks like zebra for cheap prices.

It sounds like we are getting a nice little group together. I have about 35 red cherries on the way from a member on this board, so I will be up to diversifying my gene pool if I can get them to reproduce.

I want to upgrade my tank to a 75 so I can get more plants, but funds are probably going to be tight for me for atleast the next year.

Tyler - It is the store on Johnsons Ferry. I think that the tanks might be more for calcium reactors at the momemnt unless they have started buying CO2 regulators. In any event, you can get things cheaper online if you price them out. Rex does sell good regulators, but they tend to be a little more since they have better working parts such as the needle valves he uses.

Joe - Sounds like you are well on your way to having a good CO2 setup. If you are going to build a reactor to plumb into the outflow of your XP3, you will need 5/8" barbs. I would suggest looking at an Ace Hardware for the 90 degree plastic barbs. The 90 degree barbs work much better than the streight barbs and they can be hard to find. My inline reactor is about 16 inches running on a XP2, so you will probably need one slightly longer unless you have the flow throttled back. Let me know if you need any help with the reactor. I actually have a decent piece of 2" PVC in my garage that isn't being used.

I have some broad leafed luigia and an amazon sword that is consuming about 1/3 of my 29 right now. I need to get rid of the sword as it is shading too much of my tank and I have some HC on the way that will need the light.

I just went ahead and ordered a reactor from Reg Grigg when I ordered everything else. He builds them out of PVC as well. I also ordered the 5/8 barbs.

I am looking forward to having plants to split and trade.

Yeah or possibly trading for some plants. I need to see if I can breed them first or even keep them alive for that matter.

OK on another note. I just did a major trim and I have some plants available to anyone thats interested. I am not going to lie. I do have some snails, but they are not the destructive kind. They are some type of small ramshorns that actually do a good job eating algae.

In the clippings, I have the following:

1 pretty large and extremely healthy amazon sword.
5 small plantlets of what I think is red temple.
1 small portion of glossostigma
1 very decent portion of wisteria
several lower half clippings of broad leafed luwigia ( great way to get several stems quick)
1 Ludwigia inclinata var. verticillata 'Cuba' (again, attach a weight in the middle and lay it on the bottom to propagate several new stems).

All of these plants are going to require pretty high light with CO2 injection in your tank. I am giving you guys first crack at these. The only money I would like is for the amazon to recoup the money from it. Let me know if any of you are interested in this stuff.

I also have 2 dwarf puffers that I am looking to give away. I think they might give the RCS a hard time or outright eat them, so I wanted them out. They do tend to be a little nippy with other fish and they do eat small snails.

The above offer stands until tomorrow morning. If I don't hear anything before then I am going to have to figure something out. Don't want the plants to die.

Are you looking for stores in the city or metro area?

We should get a club together at some point. Meet for trades, etc.

Metro please. I was wondering if there are some good lfs around Georgia tech and Georgia state. I think a club would be a great idea.

I work close to this area, but unfortuantely I don't live or shop close to there. I wouldn't have the first clue about stores around there. I shop about 25 to 30 miles northwest of the city.

You might want to check out the following thread about stores in the area:

http://www.plantedtank.net/forums/ge...e-atlanta.html

They are stores in the metro area, mostly on the northern side of the city.
