Short business trip to Augusta tonight, is there anyplace I should be sure to visit while I'm there?

There is a petsmart and most of the lfs used to sell the mundane stuff.

You mean "Disgusta"!! That place is the pits...other than the country club, there is nothing to do there...even the med students go nuts...

Yeah the place seemed a little on the, uh, boring side. The two single guys I attended the meetings with dragged me into a Hooters because I said I had never been in one.

I spent dinner watching them get whiplash. That was the extent of the extra curricular activities.

Dawgger: The Animaniacs are one of my favorites, using the state capital and presidents songs to help my kids in school.

Not quite School House Rock, but still pretty good.

Is it bad that three people that aren't even in GA anymore are the only ones that are using the state board?

Going back to athens for thanksgiving........GOD I miss the grill!!

Gadawg, you really made me homesick with that one. I kept thinking of fries and fetta and a dirty water dog from the cart on the corner of clayton st all day.

Did Rockys pizza really close?

Yeah, I miss The Grill too...I've always tried to make my own Feta dip, but it comes out wrong...smells horrible too...

I'm not sure if Rocky's closed...but Steverino's definitely hasn't!! They opened up another!!!

Well, The Grill isn't closed but Rocky's is. The Varsity still has horrible drive through service, but wonderful chilli dogs and choclate shakes. Everything is the same as I left it in general. We went to Athens night before last, just to look around and get an italian soda from blue sky and its changed names and owners so in all essance its closed as well. By the end of the night we ended up at Flannagian's for a few..... like we haad never left.
