Petland, Dunwoody: Plant Order List
Hey guys, I've mentioned before that I work at Petland, Dunwoody. I've been trying to revamp the planted section there and it's starting to come along. Most plants we get go very quickly and the ones that are left begin to rot after like 2 weeks due to insufficient halide bulbs. I keep telling them to change them out but they haven't yet. Anyways, I got ahold of the plant list so I'll post that on here. Let me know if you want any and I'll place the order for you. I can't guarantee you we'll get it in as soon as I order it. We place our orders and we get what comes in. Sorry if some of this is spelled wrong, I'm kind of in a hurry and I have to type this in by hand because my scanner broke.
***THIS IS A ONE TIME DEAL. I'M TAKING ORDERS UNTIL JAN. 31ST 2005*** past that I will not be taking orders, however you can request any of these plants in person at most of our petland locations. Just don't tell them where you got the list from, I don't think I'm supposed to give it out. Everything is average priced compared to most stores. I'm not in charge of pricing, so I can't quote exact prices, but I've included a few what-to-expect-to-pay prices. My quotes may be more, may be less. Please don't place an expensive order unless you really plan on picking it up. We don't have THAT much holding room for plants. I look forward to seeing what plants you offer in the future. Your location is much closer for me. I have been very impressed with the selection of live plants at the Petland Duluth store. Great display and huge variety. The staff are also very nice and informative.

I live in Roswell, and drove down today after reading this post. I was SORELY dissapointed. There were a grand total of 4 plants for sale.. FOUR! The store was a disaster (stuff lying all over the floor, literally) and 2 of the 3 sales people just kinda stared at me the whole time I walked around..
Maybe I hit it on a bad day, but not impressed at all

Old thread, I know, but this petland has gotten much better for plant selection in the past 6 months. The store is still quite a mess - I don't know why so much stuff has to be scattered all over the floors, but they have reworked what used to be the entire coldwater/goldfish section to be lots and lots of plants.
I don't recommend getting fish there, as I've had terrible luck with them being diseased and dying within days (oh, and the no refund thing is great too). But, it's good for plants, anyhow. |
