Do I really need all of this?

I have a 14 gallon planted tank & I was just wondering if I really need to use all of the fertilizers & stuff that I use? It's getting expensive ordering all the time & I have to order them since no one around here sells plant stuff.

Plants I have: Cabombas, Wisteria, Sprite, Java Fern, & Anubias nana.
Water Paremeters: PH: either 7.6 or 8.0 (not sure), NitrIte: 0, NitrAte 5.0, Ammonia: 0 and I do weekly 25% water changes & I clean the filter once a month using the aquarium water & I just clean the filter pads instead of replacing them.
Ferts & other stuff I use: Stress Coat Coniditoner (I know I need this), API Root Tabs, API Leaf Zone Liquid plant fertilizer, and Flourish Excel.

Do I need both the root tabs & liquid ferts? Or just one? If just one, which do I need to use? I read that some plants feed through the roots & others through the leaves...so thats why Im using both.

I don't think the root tabs would do you any good since all the plants you listed mainly get their nutrients directly from the water...

Switch to dry ferts and you'll save a fortune. $20 will get you enough ferts for a year or two.

The more light you use, the faster grow your plants, and the more "stuff" you need to supply them with.

For low light, it is possible that your plants can do well without any added fertilization (besides water changes and fish metabolism).

For high light, you will most likely need to add NO3 (and perhaps PO4) and a comprehensive micro mix to your list.

So it all depends.
