This may seem like an idiot question but I can't figure out how to post a pic to the site.

You have to pay a modest fee to plantedtank.net in order to have this privilage. It's used to cover the costs of offering this excellent service. I believe it's $10 for a year's subscription, which includes image attachments. Click here for details on that. Also, is Image Hosting.
