do i need co2?

im planning on only keeping java fern and java moss and maybe a sword or other easy plant, is co2 requierd? its a twelve gallon tank with standard lighting and filtartation. plus some bog wood.

theres going to be a good amount of fish in there so the nutrition level should be fine, right?

thanks!

as long as the lighting is low you should be fine with out it. CO2 isn't a requirement for a planted tank really until you get to high watt set ups. though what is standard lighting on a 12 gallon?
