Should I upgrade or not?

My dad found an Eclipse 12 for free on Freecycle (we haven't gotten it of course) and I'm thinking of getting it for me and moving the Boraras and Endler's and shrimp to this tank.

Pros:

Bigger tank size
Don't have to use the ugly Fluorite (I can choose ADA or Eco-Complete)

Cons:

Have to replant everything
Have to cycle again
Have to catch all the shrimp/fish and move them to the tank after I cycle it

and a new filter, the eclipse one sucks, trust me, i used to have one..

I know, I'm going to use my light instead. And a different filter.

But there's not really any room for another tank

Even if I do buy another nightstand, there's no room for that either

Before you start moving plants, fill it up and throw your light over it to check for little scratches. I've had two eclipse tanks and they scratch easily.

I'd stick with the 10g, but I would get the 12 for a backup since its free!

Well my dad already got it this morning

But I think I'll just leave it for my brother who's "inheriting" my Danio, Platy, Tetras, and Endler's

haha inheriting. my friend houses all my disowned fishes lol. its a huge tank (6'x2'x2') so i dont feel bad for abandoning them
