Separate the males from the females if you can.. Keep in mind female guppies have the ability to store sperm, so the females can give birth many times, after only once breeding with a male.

Good luck, I made the same mistake.

Are some of your guppies showing shredded tails, etc?

If you have a good quality strand or some that look cool then get some close ups and sell them at the swap-n-shop or at your fish store. Hell if you want to just keep donating them to the fish store and eventually they will be forced to give you free stuff

Tank looks very very beachy. I like it. Not sure about the anarchis placement (dead center?) but the crypts look great. I have a tank full of endler babies, so my heart warms to fish fry I kinda miss yours.

Man I am having the same problem, luckly not as bad. My silly self bought 12 feeder guppies, though my fish would eat tehm as they where tiny. well after 4 days i said ok there not going to eat them, and 4 had died in my filter.

So I moved them to my 10G QT tank until i could figure out what to do, and 1 month later 40 guppy fry AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. I have moved the males and females into different tanks, and when they fry are a little bigger pray my LFS will take them for free.

I can see it now, one day I will wake up and there will be nothing but guppies in the tank. I want my QT tank back.

Nice tank BTW, I hope one day mine will look nice like this.

Thanks. I was going for lush.

I actually really like the sparseness in your tank. I think a grass plant would look good, and I like the crypt idea. I also like the guppies you left in the tank.

This tank looks just like standing water on the shores here on Long Island. Not sure where you live, or if you have saltwater shores, but picture this tank with lots of little grey fish darting around in tight schools, swimming around your feet, and you've got my weekends most summers.
