My A. ulvaceous has died back and left me with a healthy bulb, Does anyone know of the proper / preferred method to store the bulb so that it can be replanted after the requisite rest period?

Thanks

The author's method in the article is placing the tuber in damp sand and storing it in a cool area for a 6 - 8 weeks. When my A. crispus go into dormancy, this is the method I am going to try.

Another method was placing it in a damp plastic bag and storing it in the fridge for a few weeks. I have tried it but I ended up with dead tubers.

I've been leaving the Madagascar lace plant bulbs in the tank for the last 9 years. I don't disturb the root system, I just remove all the dead leaves. This works best in a tank that is a little cooler then most say 70° F or so, and if you have 'understory' plants like sag subulata to keep the substrate aerated. I'm not positive yet if the soil substrate also contributes to the regeneration of the plants but I am sure it is why the seedlings survive.

Aquascape? I'm a crypt farmer.

It's a fine line between fishing and standing on the shore looking like an idiot.

That IS an aquascape, it's titled "The Vacant Lot".
