This is a perfect opportunity to get family/significant others into the maintenance routine

It will probably help to have a list of things your exposed to in the aquarium (ferts, additives, etc). when you go to the dermatologist. Then again most likely he's going to call it a contact dermatitis, give you a steroid cream, and tell you not to expose your skin to the aquarium. Long gloves like lifetapestry mentioned are a great idea.

Do you mind updating us after you see the dermatologist? I'm planning a talk at the local fish club on aquarium-related illnesses and it would help out.

For those who have a serious reaction to bloodworms, it would be a good idea to talk to your doc about it, he could probably give you an epi-pen. Let him know about possible exposure to the dust. By the time help arrives in alot of those cases it can be too late!

Ok I'll keep you up to date. From what I just read there are no clear causes or treatments. I read where this lady had been dealing with it for decades.
I hope that will not be my out come.
