common aponogeton bulb


bought some plants mail order and it had one of these in a common aponogeton bulb. what do i do with it. do i plant it into the substrate and can you tell me how big they grow

Just drop it in your tank and leave it on the substrate untill it sprouts. Once it does i just let mine go for a week or so and plant them in the substrate a little bit. They send out flower shoots like crazy also.

You might not want the answer to that one. LOL
They can get very large (24" plus leaves easily) but are a very nice plant. The lower the lighting, the slower and more controlled the growth rate though.
