In case anyone has missed it I'm breaking down some bulk KNO3 (potassium nitrate), K2SO4 (potassium sulfate), and KH2PO4 (Mono potassium phosphate). The KNO3 and K2SO4 will each run $1.50 a lb with a 2 lb minimum on the K2SO4 and one pound minimum on the KNO3, each order must be at least two pounds to make the shipping work for you. Shipping will be added on a straight across basis. The KH2PO4 will be sold in 2 ounce packages and will cost $1.
Just a little help here, you will use more K2SO4 than anything else. KNO3 use will be low to moderate, the KH2PO4 use is low. Two ounces will make a lot of stock solution. Here's the example. 1 tablespoon of KH2PO4 in 500 ml of water, one ml of this solution will give you 0.53 ppm of PO4 in 10 gallons of water. So you can see that a little bit goes a long way.

Ok, the shipping on this is going to be weird. I can fit at most 3-4 lbs of the K2SO4 in a flat rate envelope. That would be a shipping cost of $3.95. If I were to ship 6 lbs via normal Priority Mail it would run $12.30 from Portland OR to say Gulfport MS. It would run $11.49 for Parcel Post.
So I have decided I will ship all the stuff in PM flat rate envelopes. I will put three pounds of KNO3 in each one (or less depending on the order) and ship it that way. It seems to be the cheapest. So if you wanted 10 lbs it would run you $11.85 for shipping and $15.00 for the product. I think this is the easiest and cheapest way to get the shipping done. I will get figures on the KNO3 tomorrow. So if you want you can write me a check or get a money order and mail it to me at: Rex Grigg PO Box 14103 Portland OR 97293-0103 Be sure to include your shipping address and how much of each you want. Also be sure to either reply to one of the messages here, or email me (best!) or pm me to let me know. If you want 5 lbs of product then figure $7.90 for shipping (3.95 X 2) + $7.50 for the product (1.50 X 5) for a total cost of $15.40 The max ship weight per envelope will be just over 3 lbs. If you want 7 pounds I can split it into two envelopes. If you want 10 I can fit it into 3 envelopes. If you have questions then please ask.

Yes it will be. I was told it was the same price and I said it would be. But when I picked it up today it was a little higher. But nothing to worry about. It is however prilled. Which means it has been formed into very small hard balls. So to dose it safely the best thing to do is remove some tank water, add the prill, wait about 10 minutes for it to dissolve and then add it to the tank. Or you can make a stock solution with it.

Sent out my Money Order yesterday. That clerk should love you rather than hate you. The USPS's business has declined for many reasons and they should be happy for the business!

I have a job you know. I don't sit in front of the computer all day. I have to go out and deliver mail. I hope it was not my shipment. It should not have been from what I heard. And I don't think my stuff goes though the Tacoma plant.
