After reading this thread I went to check out Aqua Pets. Seems to be pretty well stocked with fish now. Has two tanks with the usual aquatic plants. Store is well set up and very clean.
The owner was very surprised when I told him I found out about the store from an internet forum. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area. Mention your interest in planted tanks and they may start to stock more plant related stuff. The store is on the corner of Fairbanks and Andanson, about a quarter mile from Edgewater. Here's a google map: http://maps.google.com/maps?q=985+W+...0.039098&hl=en |

wow
no one's posted in here for a while but anyway. in lake mary the closest ones are Petsmart and Petco which have okayish plant selections and fish. if you want specialized stuff then you ahve to go to ocean blue, pet bazzar, the aquarium and other places around 30 minutes from here. theres TONS of saltwater lfs but not too much specialize on planted tanks. |

IMO all the ppl in Orlando, Tampa, G'ville and Ocala area should all get together... there's plenty of active members for a club just on this forum!! Needs someone to really head it up, though (I'm not volunteering and I'm out of area LOL)
